RNLI help request

Hello! If you were at my talk for the Media Trust on the 29th of March (or have heard the subsequent podcast) you should know why you are here!

I think that my proposed viral campaign for the RNLI could help save children’s lives, whilst at the same time be greatly beneficial to their brand. I will hopefully be showing my campaign concept and Blog to Lisa Linscott from the RNLI in the near future. Lisa only knows me from a brief phone conversation where I asked her what message she would most like to deliver to a youth audience in order for me to create my presentation for you. She probably thinks that I am a little odd!

Therefore I would like to ask one of two things from you:

1)If you have any comments on the proposed campaign please list them here
2)If you can think of any way to improve the campaign concept, please let me know!

You should by now realise that you are an active participant in a real life viral campaign. This campaign is designed to attract one person and has a very specific call to action for all participants. It has been distributed via a presentation, blog and a podcast – Great examples of technology I only had time to name in my 25 minute slot. I hope this is of help!

My presentation can be downloaded at www.4T2.co.uk/viralcomms.zip.

A direct link to the Podcast with my speech can be found here

Thank you for your time and have a great day.

Thanks for your talk last week. I found some of your concepts very interesting and it is certainly is not an avenue we had ever thought of using before.

On the RNLI concept I would consider using their lifeboats instead of waveriders. To me donating to the RNLI is all about Blue Peter's old appeals with thermometers for when the target is reached. Maybe I am just getting old! Great idea though - they should definatey consider it. If we can think of a suitable message I'll give you a ring.
