Highlander and the Di Vinci Code

On a completely different subject… Hopefully someone else will Google the same phrases I just did and find this blog entry:

Whilst watching the classic film “Highlander” the other night I noticed numerous items repeatedly appearing that related to Dan Browns book - The Di Vinci Code. Some are really obvious (The huge picture of Mona Lisa half way through), some are in the plot line (why have a certain group of people got special powers? / why should they not fight in churches?) and some are subtler.

Has any one else noticed this? If my memory serves me correctly Dan Brown mentions that lots of films carry reference to this “secret”. It may even refer to Highlander and that’s what made me think of it n the first place.

Anyway – it just got me thinking.

And if you think I’ve gone mad, check out the wording on the sign they have the final sword fight on….
